Simple IQ Test

Is this a real IQ test? No. It is a pattern-reasoning quiz made for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a clinically validated psychological assessment, and the score should not be used for decisions about education, employment or health.

Why is my score shown as a range? Twenty questions is a small sample. A single lucky or unlucky guess moves the score by about four points, so the range is where it would most likely land if you took an equivalent test again. A single number would claim a precision the test does not have.

Why did I get no score at all? Because the result was close to what answering at random would produce, and there is no meaningful estimate to give from that. It usually means the questions were unclear, the clock ran out too often, or the age group chosen was not a good fit.

Do I get the same questions if I take it again? No. Each sitting draws twenty fresh questions from a bank of six hundred and puts the answers in a new order, so a score cannot be practised up by memorising.

Where did my past results go? They are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes them, and there is no copy anywhere else to restore from.

How do I change the language? The app asks on first launch, and the button in the top right of the home screen changes it afterwards.

점수가 왜 구간으로 나오나요? 20문항은 적은 표본입니다. 운 좋게 또는 나쁘게 찍은 한 문항이 점수를 약 4점 움직이므로, 같은 수준의 검사를 다시 봤을 때 점수가 놓일 가능성이 가장 큰 범위를 함께 보여드립니다. 숫자 하나만 내놓으면 검사가 갖지 못한 정밀도를 주장하는 셈입니다.

점수가 아예 안 나왔습니다. 결과가 무작위로 답했을 때 나오는 수준에 가까워, 의미 있게 제시할 추정치가 없기 때문입니다. 보통 문항이 잘 이해되지 않았거나, 시간이 자주 부족했거나, 선택한 연령 그룹이 잘 맞지 않았을 때 그렇습니다.

다시 풀면 같은 문항이 나오나요? 아닙니다. 600문항 중에서 매번 새로 20문항을 뽑고 보기 순서도 섞기 때문에, 외워서 점수를 올릴 수 없습니다.

지난 결과가 사라졌습니다. 결과는 기기에만 저장됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워지며, 다른 곳에 사본이 없어 복구할 수 없습니다.
